Swipe-to-shop for Shopify kids and toy stores
Updated 2026-11-02 · Would You Swipe It team
Shopify stores selling toys and children's products can use a swipe-first product view to make browsing more visual. Would You Swipe It uses catalog products, supports likes and skips, and lets shoppers open details, choose an available variant and add an item to the existing Shopify cart.
Put essential product information first
Clearly state age guidance, dimensions, materials, care, warnings and what is included on each full product page. A swipe card is not a substitute for those details. Use clear product images and variant names so shoppers can tell similar items apart.
Review consented store feedback
When feedback is enabled and analytics consent is present, merchants can review aggregate product views, likes, skips, optional reasons and cart additions. Keep skip reasons simple, for example age range, style or price. Do not infer a child's identity or profile from these interactions; the app does not request one.
Test the shopping flow
Enable the theme embed and verify product options, stock labels, cart additions and links on phones and computers. Keep the regular grid and normal checkout available. For the general implementation flow, see how the Shopify swipe app works.
