Swipe-to-shop for Shopify fashion stores
Would You Swipe It adds an optional swipe view to a Shopify fashion store's product and collection pages. Shoppers can like a piece, skip it, choose an available variant and add it to the normal Shopify cart. The merchant sees product-level activity and optional reasons for skips in the app.
What can a fashion shopper do?
- Browse the store's existing products as cards on a phone or computer.
- Save liked products to favourites and return to them later in the same shopping experience.
- Choose an available size or colour variant before adding a product to the Shopify cart.
- Switch back to the store's normal grid.
The app reads the store's products and collections. The merchant chooses where to enable its theme app embed; it does not replace the store's theme or checkout.
Which questions are useful when someone skips a product?
A short optional question can distinguish a price objection from a missing size or a colour that does not fit the shopper's taste. For a clothing collection, the merchant can ask about price, size, colour or style. These are responses from shoppers who choose to answer, not a measurement of every visitor's motive.
What appears in the merchant's reports?
Products and Insights show views, likes, skips and add-to-bag actions recorded by the app, with filters and CSV export. Order comparisons cover the available Shopify order window and require the approved order scopes. A match to a shopper's swipe activity is possible only for a logged-in customer with a matching customer ID. These reports describe activity; they do not prove that a swipe caused an order.
How does a store start?
Install the app, enable its app embed in the Shopify theme editor and save. The merchant can then check the product page and a collection page on both phone and desktop. Read the swipe app guide for the shopper flow, or request Early Access.
