How to enable a Shopify app embed in your theme

To enable a Shopify app embed, open Online Store → Themes, choose Customize for the theme you want to edit, open the App embeds panel, switch on the app's embed and save. The app must be installed and provide an app embed. Preview the theme before publishing so you can check its storefront behavior.

Enable the embed In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and customize the intended theme. Select App embeds in the editor sidebar, find the app, turn its toggle on and save. The exact panel placement can vary with Shopify's editor version.

Preview before going live Open relevant collection and product pages in the preview. Test desktop and phone layouts, keyboard navigation, variant selection and adding to cart. If the embed offers settings in the app, publish or save those settings before checking the preview.

If the embed is missing Confirm that the app is installed on the same store and that the selected theme supports app embeds. Reopen the editor after installing or updating the app. Contact the app developer with the theme name and a description of what appears; do not share customer data.
